Unit 2: Leadership Lab

How would you rate your cadet leaders on a scale of 1-10 for the training they provided during Leadership Lab from 26-30 September ?

  1. I would give them a 7,because one person told us to do one thing, and then another person told us to do something else, and it was just like they did'nt really know what they wanted to do.

  2. Giorgio is a good CO and deserves his rank. I would rate him and the rest of the leaders a 8 or 9 because they take control of the class and they know what to do

  4. Giorgio is good but he needs to be the first to take charge because this sometimes it was the people under him that did it.

  7. I would give my CO, XO, and Platoon Leaders a 8 or 9 and maybe even a 10. They did a great job of properly controlling the class, and made sure to get everything thing that needed to be done, done. They were quick to take charge, and keep everyone's noise level down. They also worked well with LTC Heard, he helped make sure we were doing what we needed to be doing.

  8. I would give the leadership in my class an 8. Robert did a great job of making sure that everyone knew what to do and how to do it. The platoon leaders and platoon sergeant did a great job of keeping everyone under control and on task. Our class did not get as much of a chance to lead because of the Testing day where everyone missed their 3rd period, and on Monday when the recruiter came to talk to us, but on the days we were able to lead, the leadership was great.

  9. I would rate them between an 7-8. I would rate them this because sometime they would say different things as far as what we would be doing that day. For the most part they were pretty good telling us what to do and what to do better in.

  10. i would rate a 8 because i know the majority is trying, but there are still bad apples in the bunch. People are wither trying really hard or not at all. It really just depends.

  11. i would rate a 9 because the leaders knew what they were doing and they always kept us busy on something. They made sure that the people who did not want to participate , didnt affect our day to complete our task. They did a great job and kept us motivated

  12. I would rate them 8.5 because some took the power to there heads.Overall they did good. They kept everyone in order and on task, they were organized for each day ,and prepared properly.

  13. I'd give them a 7 or 8. There's no problem with their leadership abilities, but their organization is poor. One of our leaders will tell us to do something one minute, but the next, another leader is telling us to do something that contradicts with the original instruction. Though Adrian, Giorgio, Jordan, and German all have excellent leadership strengths, they need to figure out who is actually commanding the class.

  14. I would rate the leadership in my class about an 8 or a 9. My company commander knew what was going on and delegated tasks very well. Also, my First Sargent did a very good job of keeping the class under control and in order.

  19. I would give them an 8 or 9 because they trained us well but everything wasn't well organized.

  20. I give my squad leaders a 5 because they didn't prove why they are leaders. The weren't loud and didn't give support to all the other cadets. Me being the 1Sg had to step in and make sure that everyone did what they were supposed to.

  21. I give my leaders an 7 because they gave us support and kept us lively and fun but organization was poor and people who should have taken charge did not. But overall they did a great job and I am proud to belong to A Company.

  23. i would rate my leaders a 10 i give them a big time! am not proud of it. they deal with it the rite way. they keep me on track and i love that because if i wanna be a leader like them i have to be a follower first.

    ReplyDelete
  24. i would rate my leader with a 7 1/2 because sometimes he do too much and sometimes he do nothing at all, and i feel like if you're going to be a leader then you need to lead all the time and not some of the time.

  25. I would rate my leaders with a 8 1/2 beacause they have been working hard but sometimes they take to much order and not understand us.I liked their attitude and potential but i think they can imporve a little better but they have been showing leadership.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I would rate my leaders a 9 because even though they`ve taught me everything I know,we are still having trouble with staying in place and not talking when they tell us.In a way I still think we are great.

  27. I would give the leaders a 8 because its hard leading and they are people and people make mistakes. We have remember that no one is perfect. We, all of us, are still learning and we must help each other by not laughing at people when they make a mistake. Lead by example even if not a leader u can still influence your friends and help them.

  28. For my leaders I would give them a 7 because they know what t do with the company but they also have some problems when it comes to people who don't follow the orders that are given to them. The cadets in D-company do need work , me included. We do have room to learn now.

  30. I would give a rate of an 8 for my leaders, because they give an exceptional effort into bringing the D-company together and work as one. Their commands are accurately professional and they do give their best, because it's not like they're slacking off and letting the other cadets doing what they want to do. The leaders of D-company are fine and when it comes to situations like disrespect, they'll know what to do and how to handle it properly.

  31. i would rate my leaders a 8 not every one of the leaders stood up and took charge over who they were leaders of but most did expecially my 1sg and xo it went a lot smoother and got alot more done with their help

  32. my cadet leaders would definately get a 10 for their improvement, we have all grown during our jrotc expericance but, with our leaders its almost as if when they walk into that jrotc class whatever was going on outside ends outside and jrotc is their "haven" if you will.

  39. I'd have to give them a 8.5 for 2 reasons. 1) they are human and will never be the perfect peson to lead(nobody is) and 2) Some actions when not in class are not a good example of a leader/role model at times

    ReplyDelete
  40. Id give my squad leader a 9, the effort and entusiasm is inspirational, its a good example for what i'd like to become.

  41. I would give an them an 8 because sense we have had changes in our company we've been improving in or leadership and communicating more on what is wrong and what we need to improve on.And we are getting more people to participate on our leader ship labs.
