what i have learned about 9/11 is that it was a organised attack performed by the talaban or israily terrorist. te attack was to see if they could "wake the american poeple up". planes were highjacked, two 757 airline planes holding 276 people colided with The world trade centers located in new york city.
ways that we honor the lives taken from us on that day are that we pay tribute to the ones who tried to save the lifes in the towers. another ways is that we hold ceremonies to those who took part in the service of that day.
9/11 was a and is a devastating day for the U.S.. It was the loss of many Americans, which has left emotional scars on their friends and relatives. It was also the reason we fought in the middle east and are still fighting today. A war that has been going on for ten years. Regardless of the war we must remember those that died in this tragedy. We must also honor those on flight 93 which were the one who decided and were courageous enough to fight back. The way we honor them is by holding ceremonies on 9/11.
I learn that there was 4 airplane that was hijack 2 went into the world trade center and the the other to try to crash into Washington D.C. For honoring this tratric death. I willing to join the millitary to protect the country]
I learned that there were one air plane hit on an accident and then the other plane hit on purpose that's how they found out that it was an attack Miesha Bass Let1 Peroide:6th
In 9/11 there were four planes that were highjacked by terrorists. These planes all had a target to destroy but only two were able to destroy their target. Their targets were the Twin Towers, Capital building, and the pentagon. The target that was destroied was the Twin Towers. In this sad event there were 100's that died and families were depressed once they knew that their relitives died. The pentagon was also hit but it wasn't destroied. These events started the war against terrorism and increased security.
The way we honor those people that died is by remembering is by paying our respects to them on 9/11. People also have ceremonies to remember the people who helped others survive. I will honor the people this sunday by going to the ceremony at Norcross City Hall.
What have you learned about 9/11/2001 and what are other ways we can honor those that lost their lives during the attacks on that day? I learned that 9/11 was a series of terrorists attacks on America. Two planes crashed into the World Trade Center, causing it to later collapse, one plane crashed into the Pentagon, and another plane was on course for the White House. However, this plane's mission was not achieved because of the bravery of the passengers aboard flight 93, who overthrew the hijackers. Over 2,500 Americans lost their lives this day, and it is recognized as a tragic event in our history.
We can honor those that lost their lives by recognizing and honoring their memory. We should never forget 9/11 and always talk about it with respect. Also, we can honor them by dedicating ourselves to stopping terrorism. Many innocent Americans lost their lives that day to terrorism, and to give our best to stop terrorism would show respect for those who died and show that we care and don't want it to happen again.
I have learned alot about 9/11. what i have learned about 9/11 is that it was a organised attack performed by the talaban or israily terrorist. They have planned to hit 3 very important buildings in the U.S. . They managed to hit two of the three buildings which included The twin towers and the pentagon. The third, the nations capital, luckly did not get hit. Over 2,500 Americans lost their lives this day, and it is recognized as a tragic event in our history.
We should recognize this event and the lifes of the deceased in many different ways. Personly i think that it should be a national holiday where we all get time of to show our condolinces. Another way to honer them is to attend ceromonies in your local area or community. Lastly, if the oppertunity comes, you should go to NYC to see the memorial to remember that day. -Delshay Bell Period 4 LET 1
America has been through many life altering situations that have challenged us to become heroes and courageous people. 9/11 gave us as Americans a reason to come together in a time of great need. I learned that we are heroes in one way or another. Before this week I have only known bits and pieces of what happened on that day. I now know that there were not only two high jacking but four. As we watched on our televisions this horrible event, we all learned the value of life as an American. I also learned that the brave men and women of flight 93 fought back against the terrorist threat. Their lives will not be in vain. We should recognize the brave Americans who helped rescue the wounded from the twin towers. Building monuments in Washington D.C. and other major capitals so we may never how they gave their lives to save us. We need to remember those who first fought back in order to save others from the hands of evil. Marie Jackson LET 1 Period 4th
What i learned about 9/11 was a life changing story. I learned that instead of 2 planes that everyone think there was,it ended up to be 4 planes actually high jacked. In flight 93, the people who took over had it all planned out and they didnt care if they died they just knew they had to do a mission. They also knew that it would kill many people. Its such a sad thing to look back to ,but also knowing they are our heroes at the same time. Every year i am hoping all of us remember what happened that day , and to be thankful we werent in those planes, and the world trade center. I will never forget 9/11 it will always remain in our hearts.
What I`ve learned about 9/11 is very painful for me.People had lost their lives on flight 93 that day.The talabans were the people who had highjacked the along with the others. The talabans didn`t care if they were to die,as long as they`ve done there mission it didn`t matter to them.
An other way we could honor the lives that had lost is pay tribute to their family by a `sorry' speech from the president. Not only that but to have at least a day off to remember them in our own gieful way. I hope that god bless their souls and help their family through hard times.
Message bodyI learned that 19 al-Qaeda-trained terrorists hijacked four U.S. airplanes. The hijackers crashed two of the airplanes into the World Trade Center towers in New York City and crashed the third airplane into the Pentagon outside Washington, D.C. Passengers and crew fought the hijackers for control of flight 93, and it crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, short of reaching the hijackers' target in Washington, D.C.
The attacks caused the destruction of the World Trade Center twin towers, damaged the Pentagon, and killed about 3,000 people. Including hundreds of firefighters and rescue workers who tried to help the victims at the World Trade Center, while inside the buildings collapsed. I think the only way to honor those who died this sad day in america is to hold a memorial service every year to remember the inocent victims, and to never forget it and keep it in mind so that we can try our hardest to keep anything like this from ever happening again. -Robert Suarez let 1, 3rd period
Everything about 9/11 is very inspiring, not because of the attacks but because it united the United States more than it has ever been united. We learned a lot from the horrible day on 9/11/01
September 11, 2001 has to be the worst day in the United States since the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.19 trained, suicidal AL-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four American jets. Two of them which crashed into the World Trade Center, One that hit the Pentagon, and the last one that struck in Shanksville, Pennsylvania thanks to the brave passengers that prevented the attack on their target the White House. There were approximately 3,000 innocent lives that were lost! Those in the jets, in the World Trade Center, and in the Pentagon, including many fire fighters, police officers and rescue workers at the scene of the World Trade Center. 6,000 were injured, many of them now with medical problems due to the inhalant of smoke while they worked on ground zero. The President at the time, Bush, ordered that the Delta jet, that was thought to be hijacked, to be shot down by the Air Force. It never happened because our commanders didn't give the orders. They didn't know Flight 93 was hijacked until four minutes after the plane crashed leaving NO survivors.
It really does anger me that there are people in our world that can do cruel, violent, ungrateful evil things in life and live with all that guilt digging inside of them. Lets honor all the innocent lives lost, hold memorials every anniversary. Lets pray for those that lost their lives and pray for the friends and families who lost their loved ones. Lets never forget the day that changed the United States, lets continue to fight terrorism and PREVENT the spread of terrorism! TOGETHER WE CAN DEFEAT THEM AND WIN THIS HARD BATTLE! I feel that to really honor the lives lost we must defeat our enemies and leave no one standing! GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! REST IN PEACE TOO ALL THE LIVES TAKEN ON 9/11/01! WE WILL NEVER FORGET!!
I learned alot about 9/11 and I was honestly surprised to find out how it all happened. I find out that there were four planes they all crashed, three out of the four planes hit their target but one didn't it crashed in pennslvania.I learned that about 300,000 died that day and that there was alot of smoke from the towers.I also learn that terriosts were the ones who hijacked the planes and killed them people and theirselves. We can light candles, have moment of silence, and say prayers and give hope to their families that have lost their loved ones, thats a few ways we can honor them.
Something i learned from 9/11 was that four planes were hihjacked by terrorists who in addition to killing themselves, they also killed many more innocent people. As a result many people lost their loved ones. These Al-Quiada terrorists crashed two airplanes in the World Trade Center, and another one in the Pentagon. Also, there was a fourth plane where the brave passengers prevented to hit its target. Unluckly, they all died when the airplane hit the ground. Something we can do to honor those who died from the terrorists' attack from 9/11 is to always remember them. We reflect what happened that day with moments of silence. We should also be respectful and think if it didnt happen to any of us, how we would feel if we had lost a loved one from this event. We should also keep in mind the bravery and loyalty of the rescuers who tried to save these people from dying. A monument built in their honor and a wall with their names is the best symbol for the victims of this terrible attack to the country.
There is a lot I learned about 9/11. One thing that I learned that a planes crashed; One into the world trade center , one into the pentagon and in a another plane went down before it hit there target( US 93). all those planes were hijacked ,but US 93 the passengers attacked but weren't able to get control. A way to honor those people who died is have all those people recognized and have memorial for them where we pray with the families and have silence for the honer. Also we should also make t-shirts in respect to what happen. chantiea crawford 3rd period 9/9/11 LET1

9/11 was a devastating day for all of America. It took place ten years ago, but it is still affecting us today. I have learned that 9/11 was a terrorist suicide attack by the al-Qaeda terrorist group. I also learned that four planes were hijacked. Two of these planes hit the World Trade Center, one hit the Pentagon, and one was retaken over by the passengers. This terrorist attack killed about 3,000 people, and injured over 6,000 people.
This horrible day in American history needs to be remembered, because history has a way of repeating itself. If we remember about it and learn ways to be better protected we can prevent this from happening again. We also need to honor everyone that lost their life on 9/11. We especially need to honor those on Flight 93 for their braveness that prevented many more people’s deaths. We can honor everyone that lost their life on this day by doing memorials, like the one in Norcross tomorrow. We can also pass down the stories of 9/11 from generation to generation to make sure it is never forgotten.
-Ben Flanders 9/10/11 (original post was on 9/8/11) Period 3 Let 1
On the day of September 11, 2001 the United States of America were attacked by a group of Al-Qaeda terrorists. The group of terrorists, lead by Osama Bin Laden, set out to destroy some of America's most important buildings: The World Trade Center, The Pentagon, and the Capital Building. The group of 19 suicide bombers managed to hijack 4 American planes. Two of the planes into the World Trade Center, and 1 of them into the Pentagon, on the last plane, flight 93, the passengers attempted to retake the plane but the plane crashed into the ground in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The group of Al-Qaeda terrorists that took over Flight 93 intended on hitting the capital building. All of the passengers on flight 93 died on that day, along with thousands of other innocent people. Over 3,000 people lost there lives on this horrific day.
All of those who lost their lives on 9/11 need to be remembered, honored, and respected. This day was truly the worst attack on the United States in the History of America. We can remember those who lost their lives by attending local tributes and memorials. We especially need to remember those who lost their lives in Flight 93 for their braveness and heroism. We should pass down what happened on 9/11 to our children, so that those people who died will NEVER be forgotten. We also need to make sure that something like this will NEVER happen again! I believe we should continue the war on terror and not stop until it has been stopped completely.
I learned that the Flight93 was hijacked and the government officials thought that it wasn't hijacked. There were two planes that hit the World trade center (aka the Twin Towers). there was also another plane that crashed in to the pentagon, and that injured and killed many people. One plane was though to be hijacked, but they were wrong. At that time when they figured out that it wasn't hijacked, it was too late for Flight93.
In order to show our affectionate memory of the September 11, 2001 story, we should ALWAYS respect and honor them. They were brave and lost their lives for a horrible reason. We should attend their memorials and locals events of the September 11, 2001. We come together and pray for those who lost their live lives. People who lost their family members, friends, co-workers and more.
We should especially honor the Flight93 people who tried to save other people from dying. They sacrificed their lives to save and to prevent other people from getting killed or injured.
What I learned is the fact that 4 united airplanes were hijacked and meant to destroy many or our most famous landmarks. 3 of the 4 planes had reached their targets: the twin towers and a section of the pentagon. One of the 4 airplanes was able to be taken back into control but had still crashed in a field, luckily not one of our other landmarks. These flights had many innocent people on them and their lives could not be saved. The people who hijacked these planes may have been heroes within their own psyche but in my mind they are cowards. What I learned is the very insignificance we all have and the mortality in us all. One life or many, we are all the same. To honor the innocents, and in Flight 93's case(the plane that crashed in a field) heroes, we should honorably remember them all and honor the very people, young and old,man and woman, with the utmost respect and be able to do the same thing we have done every year and be able to stop the evil that works within not just terrorists but in our own hearts as well. The very thing that stops us from being heroes is what exactly??? terrorists? what others think? our friends and family? no. fear. September 11,2001 is one of the saddest days in american history. Innocent people died and that makes me sick to my stomach.
the 9/ll attack on the World Trade Center was caused by Al-Qaeda which is a group of terrorist from iraq. two planes were hijacked and targeted for both buildings of the WTC. another plane was hijacked and hit the pentagon. the last plane, which is flight 93, was hijacked and aimed for The White House in Washington DC. The passengers on the plane heard about the hijacks on the other planes and actually tried to do something about their situation. with the courage of the passengers, the white house is save but unfortunately, not them. their plane crashed in a field in pennsylvania. no one survived. their attempt is what counts. it proves America is strong and brave!
this tragic day is found to be useless but people don't realize its a wake up call and it makes us better. for instance, our airport is at its highest now with security. we are a bit more careful about who we're with and what we do. we learned more about terrorist and the plans of attack. these things i have learned about the day of the attack. may their souls rest in peace! over 2900 people died that day which included firefighter, passengers and the workers in the buildings. the least we can do is hold a memorial day and ceremonies every year to remember out lost, love ones and honor the dead with prays from our living hearts. give credit to the souls lost in our own country. give credit to the souls trying to stop the hijack. give credit to the innocent victims in the building! its all worth our prays and contributions.
What I have learned about 9/11 was that four united airplanes were hijacked by a group of terrorists from al qaeda. One of the planes intentionally crashed at the pentagon at Washington D.C. and two of them crashed at the twin towers in New York. One other plane, United 93 crashed near Shanksville Pennsylvania in a brave attempt to regain control of the plane but sadly, no one survived. And in the end, I am saddened how people would throw away there lives and the lives of others for religion.
How I honored the deaths of nearly 3,000 people was that I attended the memorial service at Norcross City Hall. But that is not the only way people should honor the deaths of those people. We should always have them in our hearts and minds and come together as one people regardless of race or moral values to make sure this tragic piece of history never repeats.
What I have learned form 9/11 is that it will stay with us forver. The people that were killed in the buildings and the ones helping on the day of that horrible day.Which amost 3,00 people died, because of that terrorists from qaeda that planned that attack.
I also learned that making the right move like the people on flight 93 that noticed that some thing wasn't right so they decied they hade to do something which was to attack the terrorists.Sadly nobody survived the crash but it all takes leadership and hard taking thoughts to now what to do.Thats why we rember the every year 9/11 not just day but every day we live should be a day that we rember what happened.
I learned that 3,000 people were mudered in cold blood by terrorist trying to set a rift in the American spirt. They may have claimed lives, but they didn't harm the American spirt for it can't be broken. Also more than 500 firemen, police officers, and others heroic people died saving more lives. The city of New York was in shock, but has recovered and ten years later it still remember.
9/11 is something that we must never forget. 3,000 lives were lost in seconds. Millions more were torn into as they lost family and friends. We can honor these people by being respectful around the subject of 9/11. We can put our flag at half mast to show they are not forgoten. We must all so remember the heroism of the passengers and crew on United Flight 93, who gave their lives to save many more.
During this week, I've learned so much. I thought i knew almost everything but i was wrong. I only knew the basic things like what happened and when. Now I know how people were affected personally and economically wise. I learned the actually number of victims, and how people actually got into the planes and how they made this terrible "mistake" of killing so many innocent people. I learned the real destinations of the planes, and i also learned the about the measures the USA is taking currently to help prevent another major tragedy like this. I learned that there were people that became heroes because they helped bring down the last plane that was destined to go to the capitol, they were brave enough to take control for a while and save many more lives. I'm glad I learned the true meaning of being a hero, because those people did something many wouldn't do. Honoring the deaths of all of the people that died that day is sad, but its very important because the deserve respect from everybody because they didn't chose to die like this, their lives were taken away without them wanting to die. Showing patriotism towards everybody is very important to me as a cadet because it shows my american identity. Honoring the fallen heroes doesn't have to be an entire celebration it could simply be a prayer asking god to keep then in peace. I felt honored to be at the ceremony today because i felt like i took part in everything that happened. September 11, 2001 should never be forgotten regardless of time passing by. Live is short, love the ones you love as if it were the last day. - Suleyma Reyes -4th period -let 1
There were 4 planes 19 terrorists and over 3,000 dead. Why? Many people ask this question. For those who lost family friends and even loved ones. Ask why on this day September 11th did they choose to strip the lives of so many innocent people. For their on cruel beliefs that impacted not only the family of those lost but the country. It was a tragic day for the United States many died for the greed and ignorance of those 19 terrorist who thought what they had set out to do was an accomplishment. But their goal was never accomplished for those on flight 93 fought back. To show that even in the darkest hours it is never to late to fight back. And to honor those who died and for those who risked their own lives to save others. I feel that their should be more support behind the memorials held around the country. People should not forget that what had happened on that day. It was Truly something that will be taught through out our coming generations. That it helped carve and form the country that we are today. LIfe can truly be unpredictable you never know when those you hold dearly can just be taken away form. Just in a matter of seconds.
What I have learned from the 9/11 service ceremony is that this day really changed Ameerica. Nearly 3,000 almost died and yet today it still affects so many lives because mothers, fathrs, and children were lost. Do to this shocking day in history the day continues to live on a a nationaly date where we as Americans in some way honor those who were lost on September 11 2001. I have also learned that America has become more enhanced in its atemmpts to stop terrorism. Since the attacks airline security has been increased and military personal has become more alert and stronger to defend The United States of America.
we can honor them by every 9/11 we can have a world wide help thing to help the people family that lost someone and what i learn was that everything happens for a reason and now everything and the usa is more of things that could happen then what cannot happen
What I learned about the September 11th 2011 attack was that the people who risked their lives for the safety of the American people did it because they love america. They risked everything they had to protect us and our well being. I learned that we have a dut to make sure that those people are rembered everyday for thr duty they chose to serve day in and day out. I learned that 10 years later there are still people with moms,dads,uncles,aunts,grandmoms.grandpas,etc. We cant take the freedom we have for granted because people have been fighting for the freedom we have for years and years. Many people are still fighting for the freedoms that we have but they dont. We can honor these people by not taking for granted the amentites we have now. We can honor them by honoring ourselves and showing gratitued. Just taking into account of the everyday things we get to carry out. Period 2 LET 1

i learned that 9/11 was the most horific day in american history after pearl harbor. when the twin towers fell that day, the white house was also hit by a plane. Almost 3,000 people were killed alltogether in washington dc and new york. three out of the four planes hit there targets on 9/11. the one that didnt hit was flight 93, witch was on its way to the white house was stoped short due to the pasengers fighting back. Some things we do to honor the deaths of the people on 9/11 are that we hold ceremonies for those who showed great heroism and did great things in life to inspire others
9/11 is a tragedy that will haunt America for many years to come. Many lives were lost on this date.4 planes were hijacked to hit the World Trade, The Pentagon, and the capital building.3 of those 4 planes hit their targets except one, flight 93.Those men and woman on flight 93 sacrificed their lives to save America
We honor those lives lost on 9/11 by having ceremonies and pausing to reflect on what happened on that very tragic date.
JROTC Service Project Over the course of history, a great deal of terroristic and barbaric things have happened to the U.S.A. such as Pearl Harbor, bombing in Oklahoma city. But the one that changed Americas view on terrorist attacks was the attacks on the World Trade Centers in New York and on the Pentagon also the plane that was headed towards the White House on September 9, 2001. On this day in history americas’ population was scared for life. In the four attacks 2,985 people died. 343 firefighters and paramedics died. In Tower one 1,402 people lost their lives and in Tower two 614 people lost their lives. At 8:46 AM the first plane hit the North Tower and 17 minutes later at 9:03 AM the second plane hit the South Tower. One tower burned for 56 minutes and the other burned for 102 minutes until they collapsed in only 12 seconds. Even though this attack devastated our economy and infrastructure we will always fight back. The only plane that didn’t reach its location was flight 93. Flight 93 was the plane that was supposed to go to the White House but instead it crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. the only reason it crashed was because the americans on the plane knew it was a terrorist attack and they fought back. They had called their loved ones and were told that the Twin Towers had been hit. Then they gathered all of the strong men and weapons and attacked the terrorists and tried to retake the cabin but the terrorist pilot crashed it while he was under attack. There were no survivors. Of the four planes that were hijacked by Al-Qaeda terrorists, one also went to the pentagon. Because of its strong walls, 59 American citizens died because of 5 Al-Qaeda members thought they could destroy the foundation of America but they only destroyed the foundation of the TwinTowers. The united States of America was targeted because we are the brightest light of freedom and they tried to put it out but nothing or nobody can ever extinguish that light. When we are attacked we fight back when we are shot at we shoot back and when we always will be the strongest place for freedom.
The attacks of 9/11 were made by Al-Qaeda, a terrorist organization founded by Osama Bin Laden. The attacks occurred within the hours of 8 to 9AM. The first two attacks were by two planes crashing into the World Trade Center Towers, flights 11 and 175. About half an hour later, the third hijacked plane hit the Pentagon. Flight 93, a plane that was also hijacked by Al-Qaeda, was aiming for either the Capitol or the White House, when passengers unsuccesfully tried to take over the plane resulting in the plane crashing in a field in Pennsylvania. The passengers on Flight 93 commited an act of heroism by asserting themselves into the situation and saving America from another horrific attack. We show our gratitude by honoring the lives lost on that day.
Al-Qaeda was trying to destroy America and weaken our people. Though America is now stronger and we have strengthened the security of airports and cities. Now that the attacks have happened, America and its people have woken up and are paying attention to the threats that are being made. We all have undeniable respect for the NYPD and the firefighters that risk their lives for our safety. The couragous people that died for America ispire us to do good for our country.
In class we have learned that on September 11 there were attacks made by a terrorist group called AL-Qaeda to the US. There were 19 people involved in this event. They all separated onto four planes each plane had a destination and once it started there was no turning back. The first tow planes flights 11 and 175 were designated ti hit the world trade center located in New York. One plane hit the pentagon in Washington DC. The last fight 175 was taken over by the people on board they had been saying good bye to there families and they tolled them they went gonna land the plane they were gonna hit someplace like all the other planes had so they took over and crashed in a field in Pennsylvania these people were willing to die instead of causing more people to die. THis was a big attack the US had not had such a big one since pearl harbor.
One way we can honer more people is to make memorials and never forget them and keep getting younger generations informed of what happened this day and what the cause of it still affect some of us this day.
9/11 was a horrible day in american history. The radical muslims that worked in Al Qaeda hijacked 4 planes and crashed them into major buildings that showed our country's strength including the world trade center, and the pentagon. They tried to get the white house where the president runs the country, but the passengers on flight 93 defended themselves against the attack, although they didn't survive the crash. Their sacrifice for this country has made them honored for years since. There are many different events held on 9/11 that honor the heroism of the flight 93 passengers and the lives taken on this day.One was the community service project on sunday. People also go to churches for sermans while others go to cookout celebrations. The families of the deceased passengers go to many of these because of the effect 9/11 had.
What i learnd from 9/11 is that On September 11th, four teams of hijackers walked past the security at three major metropolitan airports and hijacked four aircraft. Two were crashed into the World Trade Towers, one into the Pentagon, and one was apparently and thankfully shot down before it could reach its target.America, despite lovely speeches about bringing freedom and democracy to the world, has a record of backing some of the worst dictators to be found. The US Government, for reasons of commercial interest, backed men like Batista, Pinochet, and the Shah of Iran, despots who drove their people into poverty to enrich American corporations until their people rebelled. Then we befuddled Americans scratch our heads and wonder why those people don't seem to like us very much.
10 year ago a attack was taken place in America. 9/11 was the day our country was attacked by terrorist. The terrorist hijacked our plane and attacked the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and another one did not hit the target. Thousands of our brothers and sister died and some tried to help save lives. It was a wonderful day until it turned dark. that day brought us more sercutiy to our to nation. the terrorist had no right to do this because we didnt harm them.
now, every year we always have morials for now family, friend, and the brave warriors of 9/11. we do whatever we can to prevent something like this in the future. we have more sericuity, mor forces and etc.
If I can remember where i was in 9/11 i will say I was in Bangladesh getting ready to come to my new home and starting a new happy life and this happened so my coming to america was delayed. I remember praying ever night and day who lost their lives on 9/11 and I still do because I'm proud to be an American.
I have learned alot about 9/11. I know there were four planes that had took off without suspecting it to be their last life on earth. The planes were hijacked by Al-Qaeda which is a group of terrorist from Iraq. The first plane hit the World Trade Center and people just thought it was a accident. Then when the second plane hit on purpose they already knew it was an attack. Flight 93 was the plane that was heading to the White House, but passengers heard about the attack on the WTC and took back over the plane. The plane was landed in a field in Pennsylvania SAD to say none of the passengers survied. I think that was a very good deed they have done by risking their lives to save America. I Honor, respect, and pray everyday and during every ceremory that is held, for all the people who died during 9/11.
The incident that took place on 9/11 changed the meaning of fear into our world, the ones that we loved gave thier lives for the safety of others. Today we honor those that lost thier loves for us that day by paying our debts every year in a traditional ceremony.
I learned that the 911 is a very special day for all of us as Americans citezens. It was a very tragic day that made the whole United State to be in worryness and sadness for all the lives lost.We as U.S. citizens can make this a honorable day by remembering our brother and sisters who died in the day.We can also for one day stand up and apreciate those people who safe life ass the firefighter and the recuers and were never going to forget this tragic event. We will always have this in our hearts for ever.
I learned alot the day of 911.The attacks of this day were made by the terroist group Al-Qaeda.They were sent by Osama Bin Laden. The first two attacks were by two planes crashing into the Twin tours, and the flight numbers were 11 and 175.Then a little time after, the third stolen plane hit the Pentagon. We can honor them by praying to the people who died this day
9/11 Was Just A Tragic Day For Americas History . Just S Regular Day And Many Lives Lost . what i learned from the 9/11 service project was that originally, 4 planes were hijacked and were each on a suicide mission. two planes hit the twin towers which made them collapse, then the 3rd plane was supposed to hit the pentagon but only crashed towards the side of it, and the 4th plane was recaptured by the passengers and crash landed somewhere else, it was supposed to hit the white house but the passengers refrained that from happening.
9/11 took place in 2001, and was a result from 4 airplanes being hijacked by Al-Qaeda terrorists. All planes had an objective to hit, but only two were really successful in that they hit their targeted mark. The end results were two planes hitting the twin towers, causing their destruction, one hitting the Pentagon, and the other crash landing in a field. Thousands of Americans lost their lives, leaving the memory of 9/11 for us to remember. What we do to honor those deaths is key to help future generations remember the brave people who, just like they can, contribute to America. We do many thing to honor them, moment of silence, memorials, and pledges. We should continue to do these things so we never forget that day. Edgar Viveros Let 1 Period 4
What I have learned bout 9/11 is that four planes were hijacked by Al-Qaeda terrorist. Two of those plane hit the world trade center in New York and another hit the pentagon. The last plane flight 93 we think was headed to the white house in Washington but it never reached its destination. There were brave passengers aboard flight 93 and they brought down the plane in Pennsylvania. We can honor them by remembering them and what some people did to help save others. in our 911 project we learned what really happend, that it was not just a terrorist attack on our country, but also on our way of life. september 11, 2001 planes all across the united states were hijacked by radical islamists. their plan was simple to destroy the 4 main buildings that sybolize what is american, the white house, the world trade centers, the pentagon, and some believe capital hill was a target. those are the main buildings that show we are know by. flights AA11 and UA175 crashed into the world trade centers and flight 93 was intended for to go to either the white house or the capital hill, but the passangers overrode the hijacking and took the plan down to the ground in shanksville, PA steve simango let 1 period 4

September 11th has become one of the most memorable days in history. For the losses suffered on that single day, Thousands of lives have been changed. There are many ways we can honor the brave men and women that played a role on that day. Most Americans felt an overwhelming urge to reach out and help their fellow citizens. Some bought American flags to hang in a show of support, demonstrating their patriotism. Still others organized various fundraisers for firefighters, police and anyone else directly affected by the tragedy. Others stand and pray together asking GOD to comfort their family and friends. There’s no right or wrong way to honor the brave men and women, big organizations like to organize a walk which they called it “9/11 unity walk”. Also the 9/11 Memorial 5K Run/Walk will take place to give those who vowed to “Never Forget” the opportunity to exercise that vow. At the finish of the 5K, American flags will be handed to runners as they cross the line. Each flag will represent an American who lost their life on 9/11/2001. Runners will carry the flag they are given and will place it in the grass in the “Tribute in the Park”. So I say everyone get involved one way or another ever year and show your unselfishness and patriotism, to honor these brave courageous men and women that played a role in the events of 9/11.
All I know about 9/11 is basically the stuff we have all known but we can honor it by doing more service projects, visit the family of the ones that died, and fund organizations that support anti-terrorism.
The 9/11 Ceremony will be at the Norcross City Hall on Sunday, 9/11/2011. Cadets must be there at 12:45 PM.
ReplyDeletewhat i have learned about 9/11 is that it was a organised attack performed by the talaban or israily terrorist. te attack was to see if they could "wake the american poeple up". planes were highjacked, two 757 airline planes holding 276 people colided with The world trade centers located in new york city.
ReplyDeleteways that we honor the lives taken from us on that day are that we pay tribute to the ones who tried to save the lifes in the towers. another ways is that we hold ceremonies to those who took part in the service of that day.
9/11 was a and is a devastating day for the U.S.. It was the loss of many Americans, which has left emotional scars on their friends and relatives. It was also the reason we fought in the middle east and are still fighting today. A war that has been going on for ten years.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of the war we must remember those that died in this tragedy. We must also honor those on flight 93 which were the one who decided and were courageous enough to fight back. The way we honor them is by holding ceremonies on 9/11.

ReplyDeleteIn 9/11 there were four planes that were highjacked by terrorists.
ReplyDeleteThe way we honor those people that died is by remembering is by paying our respects to them on 9/11. People also have ceremonies to remember the people who helped others survive. I will honor the people this sunday by going to the ceremony at Norcross City Hall.

ReplyDeleteWhat have you learned about 9/11/2001 and what are other ways we can honor those that lost their lives during the attacks on that day?
ReplyDeleteI learned that 9/11 was a series of terrorists attacks on America.

They have planned to hit 3 very important buildings in the U.S. . Over 2,500 Americans lost their lives this day, and it is recognized as a tragic event in our history.
ReplyDeleteWe should recognize this event and the lifes of the deceased in many different ways. Personly i think that it should be a national holiday where we all get time of to show our condolinces. Another way to honer them is to attend ceromonies in your local area or community. Lastly, if the oppertunity comes, you should go to NYC to see the memorial to remember that day.

ReplyDeleteWe should recognize the brave Americans who helped rescue the wounded from the twin towers. Building monuments in Washington D.C. and other major capitals so we may never how they gave their lives to save us. We need to remember those who first fought back in order to save others from the hands of evil.

ReplyDeleteWhat I`ve learned about 9/11 is very painful for me.People had lost their lives on flight 93 that day.The talabans were the people who had highjacked the along with the others. The talabans didn`t care if they were to die,as long as they`ve done there mission it didn`t matter to them.
ReplyDeleteAn other way we could honor the lives that had lost is pay tribute to their family by a `sorry' speech from the president.

ReplyDeleteThe attacks caused the destruction of the World Trade Center twin towers, damaged the Pentagon, and killed about 3,000 people.

Everything about 9/11 is very inspiring, not because of the attacks but because it united the United States more than it has ever been united. We learned a lot from the horrible day on 9/11/01
ReplyDeleteSeptember 11, 2001 has to be the worst day in the United States since the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.19 trained, suicidal AL-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four American jets.

Also, there was a fourth plane where the brave passengers prevented to hit its target. Unluckly, they all died when the airplane hit the ground.
ReplyDeleteSomething we can do to honor those who died from the terrorists' attack from 9/11 is to always remember them.

ReplyDeleteWhat I learned is the very insignificance we all have and the mortality in us all.

It was a tragic day for the United States many died for the greed and ignorance of those 19 terrorist who thought what they had set out to do was an accomplishment. Some things we do to honor the deaths of the people on 9/11 are that we hold ceremonies for those who showed great heroism and did great things in life to inspire others
ReplyDelete9/11 is a tragedy that will haunt America for many years to come. Many lives were lost on this date.4 planes were hijacked to hit the World Trade, The Pentagon, and the capital building.3 of those 4 planes hit their targets except one, flight 93.Those men and woman on flight 93 sacrificed their lives to save America
ReplyDeleteWe honor those lives lost on 9/11 by having ceremonies and pausing to reflect on what happened on that very tragic date.

ReplyDeleteOver the course of history, a great deal of terroristic and barbaric things have happened to the U.S.A. such as Pearl Harbor, bombing in Oklahoma city.

ReplyDeleteThe attacks of 9/11 were made by Al-Qaeda, a terrorist organization founded by Osama Bin Laden.
ReplyDeleteAl-Qaeda was trying to destroy America and weaken our people.

ReplyDeleteOne way we can honer more people is to make memorials and never forget them and keep getting younger generations informed of what happened this day and what the cause of it still affect some of us this day.

ReplyDeleteThere are many different events held on 9/11 that honor the heroism of the flight 93 passengers and the lives taken on this day.One was the community service project on sunday.
ReplyDelete10 year ago a attack was taken place in America.
ReplyDeletenow, every year we always have morials for now family, friend, and the brave warriors of 9/11. we do whatever we can to prevent something like this in the future. we have more sericuity, mor forces and etc.

I Honor, respect, and pray everyday and during every ceremory that is held, for all the people who died during 9/11.

what i learned from the 9/11 service project was that originally, 4 planes were hijacked and were each on a suicide mission. two planes hit the twin towers which made them collapse, then the 3rd plane was supposed to hit the pentagon but only crashed towards the side of it, and the 4th plane was recaptured by the passengers and crash landed somewhere else, it was supposed to hit the white house but the passengers refrained that from happening.
ReplyDelete9/11 took place in 2001, and was a result from 4 airplanes being hijacked by Al-Qaeda terrorists.
ReplyDeleteWhat we do to honor those deaths is key to help future generations remember the brave people who, just like they can, contribute to America. We do many thing to honor them, moment of silence, memorials, and pledges. We should continue to do these things so we never forget that day.

ReplyDeleteseptember 11, 2001 planes all across the united states were hijacked by radical islamists. their plan was simple to destroy the 4 main buildings that sybolize what is american, the white house, the world trade centers, the pentagon, and some believe capital hill was a target. those are the main buildings that show we are know by. flights AA11 and UA175 crashed into the world trade centers and flight 93 was intended for to go to either the white house or the capital hill, but the passangers overrode the hijacking and took the plan down to the ground in shanksville, PA

What i've learned from 9/11 is that their was four planes that were hijacked. Two planes hit the world trade centers and the other two were suppose to hit the white house and I think the capital hill was another target I think those were the four main buildinds. That was and is a tragic day for the united states. Flight 93 was intended to go to the white house if I believe so but the plane never ended in shakesville, PA because the passengers took the plane down.

ReplyDeleteStill others organized various fundraisers for firefighters, police and anyone else directly affected by the tragedy.
